This is a fantastic upgrade to the cheap LED headlamps that are common these day. I was impressed by the brightness of the LEDs and the comfort of the unit on my head. There are a few brightness settings and a blinking mode. The unit seems durable and it is advertised as waterproof, but the very best thing about this unit is that it has an internal RECHARGEABLE battery! I'm so tired of worrying about if I need to buy more AAA batteries every time I go camping, and this is one less thing to have to remember while I'm packing. MetroFlash was kind enough to provide me with a discount on this headlamp so that I could try it out and provide an informed review.
