This little piece of metal extended the usefulness of my computer case quite a ways. I needed to add another hard drive, but I had already stuffed every available bay with a hard drive in my Home Theater PC. I did have two bays for CD/DVD rom drives and only one of them actually had a drive in it. This little adapter did the trick! my new drive fit easily in the adapter, and the adapter then acted just like a DVD drive and slid into the slot. So far it has been quiet and solid. Orico was kind enought to provide me with a discount so that I could try out this adapter and provide an informed review.
