This is a fantastic light for any hobbyist who ever needs to do meticulous work on small or detailed objects. Personally, I've found it very helpful for working on my quadcopter. It's saved me from having to replace a bunch of the rotor gears when I crashed into some mud. I could just look carefully and see when gears that needed to be cleaned out and use a needle to clean them manually. I doubt I would have had the patience for it if I didn't have this light to help with the job. The best part about this light in particular is that it can optionally be used on battery power or using the included A/C adapter. This makes it very simple to use the light in remote areas like a garage or take it outside, but at the same time, you're not stuck wasting batteries if you just need it set up at a desk. The ring of LEDs are plenty bright, and ensure that whatever you use the light for, it will be illuminated from all sides. The base is weighted very nicely too, making it easy to move the light without needing an extra hand to hold down the base. The magnification level seems just about right for any project I can think of. Overall, this product performs better than I expected and I highly recommend it!
