These are a lot of fun if you have a large, open area to use them at night. They're a new take on an old toy: I remember using the non-LED version of these when I was a kid. Times have changed now, and you can tack LED lights to just about anything. This is a good use of this new ability! It's much more fun to use these at night than I remember it was to use the standard ones during the day. It takes very little practice to get good at shooting these way up into the air. If you're good, you get 2 in the air at once all by yourself. It's much better to have a small team of kids shooting them off all at once, which is why it's nice that these are available in multi-packs and are inexpensive enough to stock up and get a bunch for a big party of slinging LEDs into the air! I had a few quality issues in the ones I received though, some of the propellers were creased in a way that made them less air-worthy than others. Also, some of the LEDs were dimmer than the others, which was a bummer. The ones that worked as designed, however were great. The rubber bands took all the stretching I dared to give them, so I was able to launch them REALLY high!. Texas tr llc was kind enough to provide me with a discount so that I could try these out and provide an informed review.
