For my two year-old son who is obsessed with excavators (or "backhoes" as he calls them), this is the perfect bedtime book. It goes through several construction site vehicles and shows how they wind down at the end of the day. The anthropomorphic equipment "plays hard" all day, and will again tomorrow, but for tonight, they snuggle into their cozy parking spots, don teddy bears and blankets and go to bed. the artwork is very nice, the size is nice and large and the length is just about perfect to hold my boy's interest.
