Let's get to the heart of the matter right off the bat: YES! you can Pokemon Go on your bike with this bike mount. I'm not going to lie: this is mostly why I got this. I found this mount to be very ergonomic for using my phone while riding around. It brings the phone close enough to clearly read while riding and is fairly easy to operate. I had no trouble reaching it with headphones, but it works even better with a bluetooth headset. I have tried several bike mounts for my phone, and this one has some real advantages. While it does not offer as much protection as the case-type mounts, it's far easier to actually operate your phone without having to use it through a clear plastic sheet. This is especially true if you use a fingerprint for security as I do on my Galaxy S6. The main clamp is very sturdy and similar to mounts I have used in my car, but the elastic bands offer great stability so that your phone isn't bouncing all around as you hit bumps on your bike. They are close to the screen, but in my case, they do not effect the buttons or the screen.
