See video on Amazon.com What a perfect idea! It makes me happy inside that LED lights have gotten to the point where the are as disposable as party balloons, and all I can say is GOOD FOR PARTIES! These make great decorations for any occasion (except maybe funerals) and will be a conversation starter for sure. In my case, I just blew one up and gave it to my two-year-old and he had a blast running around with the lights off.
The balloons themselves seem durable and large and each one comes prepared with an LED/Battery unit inside. A simple plastic pull tab allows you to store these until they're ready to be used. Just pull the tab out and it starts up. The off-white balloon is the perfect medium for the LED light to play against to make the biggest impact possible. The LEDs are programmed to blink and change color in a seemingly random pattern, which looks amazing. Note: I was able to extract the LED bulb and replace the tab after I was done using it to save the LED light for future use. No idea how long the batteries last, but given how little power these LEDs use, I wouldn't be surprised if they lasted a while. The LEDs themselves would be very fun to put in a Jack-o-lantern at Halloween, if you didn't want to use them in the balloon.
