You can never go wrong with an extra HDMI cable. I have tried so many configurations in my entertainments center and no matter what happens, every couple of years, I need a new HDMI cable. I try to keep extras around because I refuse to feed into the scam perpetrated by Best Buy and other other big box stores. It's obvious to me that their entire profit model is jacking up the price of simple cables to 1000 percent of what they should be, and hoping the suckers will come in to buy one in a hurry to plug in a new device. Oh, and these cables work just as well as any of the more expensive Monster cables and their ilk. This particular cable has very nicely designed connectors and feels very solid. I find six feet is plenty long for most jobs at the entertainment center (but I have a 10 foot one for using with a laptop). I use this one to plug my HTPC in to my HDTV and it gives me enough slack to move things around without much trouble.

Rosewill was kind enough to provide me with a discount so that I could try this HDMI cable out and provide an informed review.
