This makes inkjet printers great again!, I recently spent a lot of time deciding between an inkjet printer and a laser printer. I have gone through two or three cheap inkjet printers and each time I say that I'll never get another one. They seem to always need ink and they won't let you print anything if you're out of any of them. On top of that, they beep and complain if they're even low on ink for as long as they're plugged in. Here's why I just, yet again, bought a new inkjet printer: the ink supply is no longer controlled by the manufacturers! No more paying twenty bucks a cartridge for something that will seem to last for about 2 print jobs before you need to buy another $20 cartridge.
I went with the Canon Pixma MX922 this time, and I'm so glad I did. I ordered this 6 pack of replacement cartridges from Quantum and it was such a relief to know that I can resupply my ink for so much less! I can now print without worrying about spending a fortune on replacement ink. The first thing I did was yank out the starter pack of Canon ink and verify that the Quantum cartridges are accepted by the Pixma MX922 and that they print nicely, and I was not disappointed! It looks just as good as the Canon ink as far as I can tell.
I'm no longer sad about having an inkjet printer because with replacement ink like this, it becomes just as economical as a laser printer without the huge upfront investment of actually buying an expensive laser printer.
Quantum was kind enough to provide me with a discount so that I could try this ink out and provide an informed review.
